Our L2+ licensing plan is live today. idrive.com/autonomy →
Automotive companies can license our L2+ driver-assistance stack now, and we are live for demonstration on a production vehicle.
Why Today’s Assist Falls Short
Most driver assistance is frozen at launch: an option pack in a supplier’s black box, built for painted lanes and mapped highways. Without lanes, or through a merge, it drifts, surges, and hands the wheel back, with no clear view of what is happening under the hood.
Drivers feel that gap. Automakers cannot easily improve it, move it to a new vehicle, or own it.
What We Have Built
IDrive Autonomy is a low-cost L2+ driver-assistance stack, live on a production vehicle today.
One learned system handles the drive. It keeps the car centered, follows traffic, changes lanes on a signal, manages stop-and-go, and shows the driver what it sees. It is built for ordinary roads: urban streets, open freeway, mixed traffic.
On the vehicle today:
- Lane keeping through curves
- Adaptive cruise and stop-and-go
- Lane-change assist
- A driver visualization that shows what the stack sees
The whole stack is about $1,500: two cameras, a motion sensor, and compute. The camera sits behind the rearview mirror and fits any vehicle, without changing the car. Everything runs from one screen, so the driver can see what is happening under the hood instead of guessing at a black box.
It is proven on public roads, with 1,100+ miles engaged and a top speed of 70 mph. Every change is checked on the road with a safety driver, and again in simulation. Every mile feeds back into the model.
The same core is built to carry forward, from assisted driving today toward higher autonomy later.
What You Can License
The stack is available for automotive companies to license.
You get a low-cost driver-assist layer you can integrate into your vehicles. You keep the car, the customer, and the product plan. IDrive Autonomy is the layer behind the drive.
That includes:
- A learned assist stack for production vehicles
- The tools to run and tune it from one control screen
- A path to keep using the same core as the product grows
How Easy It Is to Use
IDrive Autonomy is built as one stack, not a pile of separate systems. Ready to engage on a press of a button.
The dashboard shows each input on the car and lights it up only when real data is flowing.
You do not need to rebuild the whole stack for every new vehicle. You license the layer, put it on the platform, and work with our team on the fit.
